2001 - Survey made by Universidade de São Paulo (divulged on the Internet around 06/jun) (17.000 people from the 100 biggest cities of Brazil were interviewed by e-mail, post mail and on the streets. Official sites of clubs, sites of organized fan-clubs, newspapers and magazines about sports were also consulted.)

2007 - Survey made by TNS Sports (published in Placar Magazine in oct/2007) (3.503 people from 16 cities answered a questionnaire, voting in his favourite team. All votes were extrapolated to a country basis with weighting based on national demographic official informations.)

This survey was realized by a less known institute whose site are hard to browse, with no clue about where or how this survey's data can be found. Also, the long survey period (april to december/2009) seems a bit strange and unusual. Finally, due to do not award to Atlético MG the answers of simply "Atlético" (only the answers "Atlético Mineiro" were computed), the scientifical value of this survey is unavoidly limited.
