Minas Gerais State League 1932 - LMDT - "Initium" Tournament

Torneio Início Minas Gerais 1932 - LMDT

In 1932, several clubs unjoined LMDT (Liga Mineira de Desportos Terrestres), protesting against alleged partiality
in favour of Atlético and created a new league - AMEG (Associação Mineira de Esportes Geraes). Atlético was the only
greater club to remain in LMDT and won the championship easily. In the other league, Villa Nova were the unbeaten 
champions, in the first of a series of four league titles - the other three were in the already reunited and now
professional league.

Em 1932, vários clubes se desafiliaram da LMDT (Liga Mineira de Desportos Terrestres), protestando contra supostos
favorecimentos ao Atlético e criaram uma nova liga - AMEG (Associação Mineira de Esportes Geraes). O Atlético foi o único
clube grande a ficar na LMDT e venceu seu campeonato facilmente. Na outra liga, o Villa Nova foi o campeão invicto, o 
primeiro de uma série de quatro títulos consecutivos - os outros três na liga já reunida e convertida ao profissionalismo.
