Due to the Second Level being cancelled in 2003 - for none of the participating clubs obeyed the
rules stipulated by the Brazilian Supporters' Law - the Third Level was reinstated, with amateur
clubs. After winning the title, CA Sorriso became professional, and played the 2004 First Level.

Em virtude do cancelamento do Campeonato Matogrossense da Segunda Divis�o de 2003, por causa dos
clubes participantes n�o se adequarem ao Estatuto do Torcedor, foi recriada a Terceira Divis�o do
Campeonato Matogrossense. Essa competi��o reunia v�rios clubes amadores do estado. Com a
conquista, o AC Sorriso em 2003 o clube profissionalizou-se e disputou o Matogrossense de 2004.
