In 1972, players from ten different clubs won the Bola de Prata. 2 players from Palmeiras and one player from ABC, Botafogo, Coritiba, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Grêmio, Internacional, Remo and Vitória each. On the other hand, in 1999 only players from 4 clubs were awarded. Atlético Mineiro players won 5 Bolas de Prata and the Topscorer award. Corinthians' players won 4 Bolas de Prata and Bola de Ouro. Palmeiras and Vitória won one Bola de Prata each. In 2015, again only 4 clubs had players awarded. Corinthians 'players won 4 Bolas de Prata and the Bola de Ouro. Grêmio won 4 and Atlético Mineiro players won 3 Bolas de Prata. And Santos won the Topscorer award.
Defender Mauro Galvão is the only player who ever won Bola de Prata in three different decades. In 1979 he was only 19 years old and won his first trophy playing at Internacional. In 1985 he won again. And he got his third trophy in 1997, at 37 years old, by Vasco da Gama. Left-Winger and Midfielder Zé Roberto won his first trophy in 1996, by Portuguesa, and his second and third trophies in 2012 and 2014, by Grêmio. He only failed in the 2000 decade.
Only six players won Bola de Ouro and the Topscorer Bola de Prata in the same year: 1982 - Zico (Flamengo) 1986 - Careca (São Paulo) 1994 - Amoroso (Guarani) 1997 - Edmundo (Vasco da Gama) 2000 - Romário (Vasco da Gama) 2009 - Adriano (Flamengo)
